Anticipation Events is a boutique event planning and styling firm specializing in weddings, social
occasions, and special events.

Prior to founding Anticipation Events in 2009, Elizabeth Tulipana worked as an event planner for four
years at one of Chicago’s most beloved cultural institutions. In early 2009 she left her job to travel in
South America for six months; after scaling the Andes, traversing the jungle, and swimming with sea
turtles, she came back to Chicago with the guts to go at it on her own.

From sparkling black-tie galas to intimate wedding ceremonies, Elizabeth has the experience to make
your event a success. Having coordinated weddings for 100 and evening cocktail parties for 1000,
Elizabeth has the flexibility and the creativity to translate your vision into a flawless event. Her goal for
your event is that while she plans, organizes, and manages every last detail, you simply anticipate and
enjoy the day.

After working on the visual team at Anthropologie and Pottery Barn she has incorporated her love
of visual design and display into events. Elizabeth will design, sew, paint, salvage, source and create
everything needed to make your event uniquely "you" and no detail will be overlooked. The deadly
combination of being obsessively organized and wickedly creative and the notion that planning and style
go hand-in-hand make Elizabeth a modern day wedding superhero.

Elizabeth graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a bachelor’s degree in communications and has
a second degree in fashion marketing from the Illinois Institute of Art. She lives in Chicago’s Bucktown
neighborhood with her fluffy dog, Walter.
